Ikigai- Book review

"Everything can be taken from a man but one thing: the last of the human freedoms—to choose one’s attitude in any given set of circumstances, to choose one’s own way."

Ikigai is a beautiful book by Hector Garcia and Francesc Miralles. This book explains how Ikigai differs for different people. It also explains why people in Japan live longer life than other countries. It delves into the meaning of Ikigai, and it shows how different it is from other cultures. Likewise, it also explains how Japanese live longer life than the average American.

Feel happy and content.

Find a stable state of mind.

Find a sense of purpose.

Feel Motivated and driven.

Become more proactive.

Eliminate insecurities about any decision. She also talked to the top successful people in Japan about Ikigai. She explained their views on how it changed their lives and how it helped them during times of difficulty. Furthermore, she has also explained that the Ikigai is not only related to a career or work, it could also be anything that a person is passionate about. I felt like something was missing. I understand that it's very common in Japanese, but I think we should have more information about it. Ikigai is a book that helps you slow down and reflect on the meaning of life. It's a slow-paced study that's ideal for those who want to know more about life. If you are looking for a great revelation, this book is not for you. It’s not for you. If you are looking for a book that will make you feel good, this one is not for you. The authors travel to Okinawa to visit a village of longevity and what it means to live a simple life. There are quotes and interviews about how to lead a simple life. So you think that you already do all of these things? This is a bit technical at times, but if you manage to keep going along, you will be able to come across some gems. You might think that you know these things, but the authors of this book have turned them into life lessons. If you're looking for a light dose of inspiration at the beginning of the year, Ikigai can be a delightful pick. This book talks about living life by truly living it. It's about living for longevity, and also being fulfilled every moment of it. I am not big on books on personal development. The few I have read were repetitive and optimistic. This book, however, had a lot of things that I could relate to and this book gave me a meaning to my life.

CITIZEN JOURNALISM

Journalism that is conducted by people who are not professional journalists but who disseminate information using Web sites, blogs, and social media. Citizen journalism has expanded its worldwide influence despite continuing concerns over whether citizen journalists are as reliable as trained professionals. Citizens in disaster zones have provided instant text and visual reporting from the scene. People in countries affected by political upheaval and often in countries where print and broadcast media are controlled by the government have used a variety of technological tools to share information about hot spots. Swirling in the background of these developments was a debate over whether the term citizen journalism was itself accurate. MAJOR CHALLENGES BEFORE CITIZEN JOURNALISM 1. Ethical challenge-Of course, there are vast amounts of garbage out there but it tends not to be so influential as the genuine stuff. There have been far more durable myths, mistakes, and untruths promulgated by...

True friendship never breaks

Once there were two little creatures, a cat and a rat, who lived together in a small house. One day while the rat was out looking for food, the cat met with some hungry men. "I'll show you to my house," he said. "That cat has some lovely cheese in his pantry." Before the rat came home, the men had eaten all of the cheese in the pantry and curled up to take a nap. When the rat opened his door and saw what had happened, he started to shake with rage. But before he could do anything, he heard his friend's voice asking him to come in for supper. "Five minutes," he said. "I won't keep you up late." He went straight away to get something for supper, but when they sat down at the table together it turned out that he had no food at all - not one single crumb! The cat looked at the rat and ignored him and started helping humans. Looking at this rat feel sad as they used to be together and help to get food and enjoy being with e...
